What is it about?
This work is the first considering the problem of using an adiabatic quantum computer as a tool to simulate quantum physics.

Why is it important?
This work proposes a ground state quantum simulator, which combines quantum simulation, adiabatic evolution and gate model techniques in the measurement sequence. It reduces the resources required to use quantum computers to simulate physics and was developed with practical technology, such as the D-Wave processors, in mind.
