What is it about?
To work with quantum systems you need a special intermediate system. One of the most convenient systems for that is a resonator. Typical resonators require a huge area on a chip, which limits the number of qubits since the total area of a chip is limited. Our work shows how to solve this problem.

Why is it important?
We show that it is possible to create a resonator, that has a much smaller size on a chip compared to the conventional resonators that are used. We also demonstrate that this type of resonator can work with qubit in a proper way and quality.
