What is it about?

Modulation instability is a crucial phenomenon as it has the potential to give rise to rogue waves. Through the Floquet analysis of the analytical doubly periodic solution of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation, a correlation between the unstable growth rate and the frequency is established.

Why is it important?

Another perspective on the unstable growth rate is put forth, offering us a deeper comprehension of the dynamics underlying these nonlinear phenomena.

Perspectives

I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude to coauthors for the invaluable contributions to this paper. I believe that this paper represents a significant contribution to the field, and it would not have been possible without coauthors’ collective efforts. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to future collaborations that will undoubtedly yield more fruitful outcomes.
