What is it about?
Evaporation of a water droplet in the air is a natural phenomenon that causes the droplet and air properties to change over time. In this article, we investigate the time-dependent variation of air and water droplet properties in a flow with a developed numerical model in the range of conditions related to air-conditioning and respiratory-based medical events and applications.

Why is it important?
The numerical model and correlations we have developed allow quick determination of variation of air and droplet properties over time along the airflow, taking into account the air-water mass mixing ratio. Therefore, it will provide great convenience to researchers working in air conditioning or medical fields, such as evaporation of SARS-CoV-2 virus-carrying respiratory droplets.
Perspectives
While i was writing this article, I was deeply motivated by the results we achieved and the broad scale of its possible contribution to the scientific community.
