What is it about?

Quantum dynamics for multidimentional system is a challenging task. We have studied the dissipation dynamics of a multidimentional system in contacting with the environment by system-bath approach. We use stochastically Multi-Configuration Time-Dependent Hartree code to study the thamalization behaviour of a model system.

Why is it important?

We get thermal distribution of the populations of the states when the intermode coupling is weak. Hyperthermal behaviour of the high energy mode is found at strong coupling regime, which arises because of intermode coupling.

Perspectives

This article shows a new way to study dissipation dynamics of a mutidimentional system.
