The majority of contributions in this book are by leading Asian scholars. Their essays are authoritative, refreshing and conveying the sort of fundamental knowledge that gives them a long shelf-life.

Perspectives

This project was more or less my academic introduction to East Asia, the beginning of a fascinating and ongoing journey that has truly enriched my understanding and curiosity about diplomacy in the world's fastest rising region.
