Why is it important?

First case of pre-emptive and therapeutic use of intracorporal negative pressure therapy because of ischemia of the blind end of jejunal loop after gastrectomy.


Endoscopic negative pressure therapy can be used in pre-emptive manner to avoid transmural intestinal defects of anastomosis in a very eary stage after operation.
