What is it about?

This paper proposed a method of integrating the voltage-lift technique with coupled inductor to form non-isolated DC-DC converters with very high voltage gain. A family of converter can be derived by increasing the number of wingding of the coupled inductor, and voltage-lift is applied to all wingdings.

Why is it important?

A family of coupled-inductor voltage-lift DC-DC converter is proposed by applying voltage-lift technique to the all wingdings of coupled inductor, and one of them is analysed and discussed in detail. They have advantages in getting high DC gain, utilizing low voltage-rating components and obtaining high efficiency.

Perspectives

This article offers a potential way for finding DC-DC converters with large step-up gain. theoretical analysis and experimental results have validated the feasibility of the proposed method.
