What is it about?
This study addresses the consensus problem based on output feedback for general linear multi-agent systems under a distributed self-triggered control framework.

Why is it important?
For general linear multi-agent systems under static or dynamic output feedback control law, we propose novel distributed self-triggered algorithms which can avoid the Zeno behavior fundamentally. What's more, the control updates of the agents are executed in a "asynchronous" way. That is, a control update of one agent will not cause a update of its neighboring agents.
