Why is it important?

The aim of this prospective study was to compare the results of the traditional cochlear implant fitting method and the anatomy-based fitting method.

Perspectives

The Anatomy-Based Fit (ABF) method has been found to improve auditory and musical perception in both prelingual and postlingual cochlear implant users compared to traditional fitting methods.
