Why is it important?
This paper provides further insights for speech language pathologists when working with bilingual populations.
Perspectives
While this paper focuses on Korean-English bilingual children, the initial age of exposure and duration to a child's first and second languages are important considerations when working with any bilingual child. This article also shines light on the need for further research on less prevalent bilingual populations in the United States.
