Modulating Complex Sentence Processing in Aphasia Through Attention and Semantic Networks

What is it about?

Individuals with aphasia can have difficulty understanding sentences. Lexical-level deficits have been shown to contribute to processing deficits during sentence comprehension. Here we show that strengthening lexical encoding through attention and semantic activation can reduce lexical processing deficits during sentence processing.
