What is it about?
One of the most debilitating outcomes of experiencing hearing loss is the challenges it brings to effective communication. The unique aspect of this research lies in its investigation of how three physiological measures of heart-rate variability, skin conductance level and pupil response are influenced by the obstacles presented in real-life communication situations.

I hope that this article contributes to enhancing the quality of life for individuals dealing with hearing loss by addressing their daily communication obstacles. The allocation of resources to health and social care isn't solely a concern for politicians, managers, and researchers; it's a matter that impacts each and every person on this planet in various capacities. Above all else, even if nothing else, my aspiration is for this article to stimulate contemplation.
