Why is it important?
This paper was the first to examine the effects of mandated distance learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic in the field of CSD. An operational definition of e-learning fatigue is provided.
Perspectives
I conducted this study to explore and document the issues I observed among students as we rapidly transitioned to 100% e-learning as a result of the onset of COVID-19 in the United States. I saw some students struggling, while others seemed to adapt and thrive. I hope this article helps stimulate additional research into learning formats and student success.
