What is it about?

We completed a randomized controlled study to find out if conversation treatment for aphasia is more effective in a group of 6-8 people with aphasia or a dyad with 2 people with aphasia. People who received conversation treatment showed greater improvements on language outcome measures than those who did not receive treatment. People in dyads made more improvements on tasks like repetition, while people in the larger group showed more improvement in connected speech samples.
