Why is it important?

The study is important because as health stewards on the frontline nurses are essential to the control, mitigation, and hopeful end of the pandemic. Their welfare must be sought after, so their fears, worries, and concerns can be addressed and reduce turnover intentions.

Perspectives

Nurses who are caring for mild and asymptomatic COVID cases also experience fear and distraught to the point of thinking about quitting their posts and even their profession as nurses. Nurses whether caring for critical patients or those assigned in community setting needs an equal attention in being provided with psychological and emotional support.
