What is it about?
This study shows the subliminal existence of war trauma both in North and South of Cyprus regardless of the age group. It shows the effects wars (1963-74) on Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots tries to explain how they are affected from them by testing with a specially designed neuropsychological tool - MEST-Cy.

Why is it important?
First study to show the existence of war-related psychological trauma in both ethnicities of Cyprus, also showing this by using a specially designed tool of MEST-Cy. Hence this new tool is also designed for this purpose through this study which can be a great contribution to the literature.
