What is it about?
This article focuses on the experiences of current and recent MENA graduate students in psychology programs within the United States. From 14 interviews, we learned what challenges and needs exist for this population and we provide recommendations for training programs and faculty.

Why is it important?
MENA populations are often understudied, including within psychology research. This article gives light to a marginalized group with the hope of informing training directors, professors, supervisors, and colleagues of important considerations when working with MENA students.
Perspectives
Writing this article was incredibly meaningful as a MENA psychologist, with MENA co-authors, and I hope MENA students can feel empowered as they read it. I also hope faculty can be better informed after reading the article.
