Why is it important?

Work organizations face rapidly emerging challenges to become more creative, collaborative, and intersectional in their efforts to develop comprehensive workplace violence prevention programs. In addition, threat assessment teams are confronted with a critical undertaking to promote a diverse representation of professional disciplines among their core team members. Due to their specialized role and function within organizations, internal employee assistance programs can contribute valuable perspectives and competencies to support an effective threat assessment and management process and enhance workplace safety when appropriate releases are signed.

Perspectives
