What is it about?

Results from this qualitative study show transgender and gender diverse adults respond with similar levels of distress to different contexts and types of misgendering. Various types of coping responses are deployed to mitigate stress, including ignoring or avoiding the situation, support seeking, emotion regulation, and more.
