Why is it important?

It provides a holistic and inclusive approach that respects all of the clients, not just the pieces we are comfortable with. Future practitioners need training that supports the broaching of uncomfortable subjects such as religiosity and spirituality.

Perspectives

It is our hope that the inclusion of religiosity and spirituality in treating clients will become the norm in mental health training programs.
