What is it about?

Psychopathy, narcissism, Machiavellianism, and sadism are clusters of personality traits that share common characteristics such as deception and manipulation and are referred to as dark traits. These traits are often associated with a better ability to feign in a credible way. However, our results suggest that individuals with high levels of the dark traits are no better able to feign mental disorders when asked to do so than individuals with low levels of the dark traits.
