Why is it important?

Even 6 year old children can complete this self report measure. There are few existing measures of meaning and purpose in children. Further, this measure allows for the assessment of prevention programming for children.

Perspectives

We found a great predictor of mental health. If the aspects measured by this questionnaire were addressed in prevention programming, then we could potentially reduce the potential for childhood mental illness.
