What is it about?
Sleep is one of the key elements of mental health. Most human beings sleep 7 to 8 hours on average. All over the world, a health worker is exposed to night shifts, including administrative staff. Specifically, mental health workers usually protect your good sleep. It is essential to feel calm to evaluate patients with some mental pathology. However, since the start of the pandemic, many of them had interruptions due to dreams that woke them up, or had some type of insomnia. A pandemic is a situation that impacts not only health, but many other areas of life such as the economy, work, and social interactions, among others. In our study with about 500 participants from a couple of mental health institutions in different cities of Colombia, and this study as a cross-sectional study with an analytical approach. Data has been gathered through an electronic self-reported using the Pittsburgh sleep quality questionnaire, we were able to analyze some of the consequences that occurred in these workers. Some of the conclusions of this study were that psychologists, psychiatrists, women, and doctors who carried out work activities during the day. It is striking that those who have received the best training have been the most impacted, but they are also the most exposed to the conflicts of other human beings during their daily work. However, it is important to keep in mind that this study included some cities in Colombia and the impacts of covid could be different in other cities and in other parts of the world

Why is it important?
This study is important because mental health experts are facilitators of a better quality of life in human beings. The fact that mental health workers cannot perform 100%, as is ideal, limits an adequate service to the general population, which is more frequently impacted during a pandemic, such as COVID 19, Increasingly, the consequences of the covid 19 pandemic will be observed in different areas of the health of human beings.
