Why is it important?
This study is important as it illuminates the lived experiences of openly gay men in elected student government; thus, helping higher education practitioners better understand the experiences of gay college men, and gay college men who are elected to student government.
Perspectives
I really enjoyed writing this article, which is the first article from my larger dissertation study. It is my hope that we can better understand this phenomenon through this and continued research.
