What is it about?
This study examines psychological distress among nonconsultant hospital doctors in Ireland, focusing on the unique vulnerabilities of younger doctors and the challenges that affect their mental health. Using the mixed-method approach, the study combines quantitative data and qualitative insights to build understanding of physician stressors.

Perspectives
I hope this article helps build understanding of what it’s like for doctors working on training schemes in Ireland as well as increasing awareness of which doctors are the most psychologically vulnerable. I hope this can help build a more positive working experience for the people who are helping all of us, all of the time.
