What is it about?

Psychopathy is related to multiple personality traits. The development of instruments that target the core characteristics os psychopathy is important for the understanding os psychopathy and its manifestations. This work provides an evaluation of the Triarchic Psychopathy Measure, an instrument designed to capture the central characteristics of psychopathy.

Why is it important?

Our findings show that the Triarchic Psychopathy Measure captures three distinct phenotypes of psychopathy: boldness, meanness, and disinhibition. Additionally, these phenotypes show congruent relations with other measures of psychopathy related constructs.

Perspectives

This was challenging work, especially given the complexity present in psychopathy literature. I had the opportunity to cooperate with multiple researchers without whom this work would not be accomplished.
