Inhibiting the early events in Parkinson's disease

What is it about?

Although the early events of alpha synuclein is believed to be responsible for the cytotoxicity in Parkinson's disease, it is unexplored. We used suitably coated magnetite to block the early events of alpha synuclein aggregation. These events were probed by fluorescence correlation spectroscopy at the single molecule resolution.
