What is it about?

Many different ways have been devised to estimate inhalation of air pollution. Some very simple e.g. based on just activity type some more complex eg. based on heart rate sensors. Different methods may give widely different results, but few have ever been validated. This makes it hard to compare the results of different studies.

Why is it important?

Inhalation rather than external exposure should be better correlated with health effects.

Perspectives

One of the first science results of the PASTA project. Achived a very high Altmetric score.
