What is it about?

This essay offers a critique of the dichotomy of cultures and argues for the possibility and validity of cross-cultural understanding. It also proposes world literature as an opportunity to embrace cross-cultural translatability as the first step towards a new paradigm in the study of different cultures in our world today.

Just look at the many conflicts and regional wars in our world today, we may have a sense of how cross-cultural understanding is crucial for a peaceful world.

Perspectives

I always enjoy doing research in understanding different cultures beyond whatever difference that separates them, and this is one of the many essays I have written in that areas.
