What is it about?
This book contains the first minimalist analysis of unaccusatives in Spanish, and probably one of the first in English. It uses the feature strength theory to compare the syntax of unaccusative verbs in both languages. It also proves through some experiments that the empty category in Spanish affects processing in a way that is absent in English.
