What is it about?
What makes music "childlike"? This article examines how a variety of pop, rock, and hip-hop artists make special use of language--and of their very own voice--in order to produce a phenomenon of "becoming-child". The article demonstrates how this childlikeness contributes to our experience and enjoyment of popular music.
