Why is it important?

Ascension Island is one of the remotest islands on the planet - which makes such studies very important from a biogeographic perspective.

Perspectives

This is an outcome of 3 of our expeditions to Ascension Island, including the 2012 "Painted Shrimp Expedition" of the Shallow Marine Surveys Group (SMSG) from the Falkland Islands.
