Why is it important?

The use of agro-industrial by-products in animal nutrition has been successfully adopted as a strategy to reduce feeding costs and to overcome the waste disposal that is expensive to remove.

Perspectives

It is very important to obtain enriched products through animal feed. To do this, we must develop both strategies for animal feed and for the production of products in this case milk and fresh cheese. In addition to the physical-chemical parameters analyzed, the sensory profile of the products was carried out. We are considering to study other functional ingredients such us PUFA or minerals.
