Why is it important?

This article begins the discourse on transition planning and post-school support for students with disabilities in Hong Kong. The concept of transition planning is still unknown in Hong Kong while the current policy does imply that schools should help students look into post-school options. Leading this discourse with empirical data strengthens the concept of transition planning, and the currently weak post-secondary support for these students.
