What is it about?

On the parish level, how can we build toward fuller and more meaningful participation in the life of the Church of our sisters and brothers with impairments? This discussion is guided by Christian themes of fraternity, peace, pilgrimage and beauty.

Why is it important?

Fuller integration and participation of Christians with impairments will help the Church grow closer to her identity as a redeemed community. The witness of Pope Francis and the work of many contemporary theologians makes this an excellent time to further this mission.

Perspectives

Writing this paper was a beautiful opportunity to come to a deeper understanding of the reality of the gift of peace given by Christ.
