What is it about?
This work focuses on enhancing the thermal conductivity of aluminium foam composites by using specialized carbon layers. They enhance thermal conduction paths in specific directions according to the foam skeleton. Anisotropic thermal properties can be obtained, allowing for a new generation of heat sinks to be developed.
