What is it about?

DNA scaffolds are critical for the assembly of DNA origami nanostructures. We show that scaffolds can be purified by chromatography, a scalable technique that is vastly superior to the standard extraction from agarose gels.

Why is it important?

Chromatography is a scalable and well proven biomanufacturing operation. Its use in DNA scaffold purification will contribute to the development of large scale DNA origami manufacturing of nanostrucures. This will facilitate the development of DNA origami applications.
