What is it about?
Pterygium is a fleshy benign growth, usually on the inner corner of eye and conjunctivochalasis is an eye condition where there are excessive folds of conjunctiva at the lid margin. Occurrence of conjunctivochalasis is studied in relation to pterygium.

Conjunctivochalasis is common but often overlooked on its impact in dry eye management.
Perspectives
It is important to be alerted to cases of conjunctivochalasis with increased sun exposure, as these people may be predisposed to pterygium development.
