What is it about?

Since there are many diagnostic devices available and many different dry eye questionnaires, there is no consensus for diagnosing dry eye. Here we arrive at the recommendation of 1. Screening for differentials 2. One validated symptom questionnaire (eg. DEQ5 or OSDI) 3. At least one abnormal sign (TBUT, Staining or tear osmolarity) For classification, use Schirmer or meniscus assessment.
