Novel Curcumin loaded nanoparticles engineered for Blood-Brain Barrier crossing and able to disrupt Abeta aggregates

What is it about?

We developed novel nanoparticles able to deliver curcumin into the brain. The study is the initial charaterisation of the new nanocarriers and evaluates safety and toxicity. We could also show an effect on Alzheimer’s disease pathology in vitro.
