What is it about?

Diabetes mellitus is one of the most important health problems in this century. Diabetic maculopathy is the most common sight threatening problem induced by diabetes, a multi-organ disease. Different kinds of imaging of the eye can document diabetic maculopathy.

The imaging can be used to detect people with early disease so that effective treatment can be performed before loss of vision occurs.
