Using a Smartphone to measure lymphedema changes

What is it about?

Diagnosis and clinical monitoring of lymphedema requires frequent measurement of the limb sizes of both the affected and normal limbs. We present a method of measurement of all limb, trunk and neck circumferences in a few minutes using smartphone equipped with a camera.

Why is it important?

Lymphedema is a chronic disease requiring life-long care. The ability to self measure limbs with ease enables both patients and health care staff to easily follow lymphedema progress. The Zozo suit is simple and affordable and does not require complex expensive electronics associated with motion suits.
