What is it about?

Cytomegalovirus is portrayed in most medical textbooks as largely innocuous except to the immune compromised. In recent years there has been an explosion in medical case studies of serious CMV infection in the immune competent. This review investigates the clinical and sub-clinical effects of CMV in autoimmunity.
