What is it about?
Considering the important role that non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs - e.g., social distancing, sanitization, health checks, etc.) aiming play for tourism and hospitality customers, and the major invest- ments/costs that the implementation of such NPIs involves for tourism and hospitality providers, this study conducts a systematic empirical assessment of the extent to which the deployment of NPIs from hospi- tality providers exert a significant effect to the prices customers actually pay.

Why is it important?
Doing so the current research note contributes to the nascent aca- demic research assessing the importance of NPIs for tourism and hos- pitality customers during pandemics, by exploring a comprehensive set of NPIs as compared to the limited set of NPIs studied so far
