Why is it important?
The LIA Program has been the largest innovation program in Brazil for micro and small businesses since 2008.
Perspectives
This paper shows that small businesses with higher management levels benefit more from innovation support programs, yet all improved to some extent. The paper is also interesting regarding the statistical methods employed such as two-step cluster analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), partial confirmatory factor analysis (PCFA), t-tests and paired t-tests.
