What is it about?
A strain-sensing composite for monitoring with aligned CNT films in epoxy was optimized and showed a strength of 1.21 GPa and sensitivity (GF) of 23. The material allows piezoresistive detection and mechanical enhancement. Bundle fracture was shown to be the failure mode.
