What is it about?

Trying to show that our rice plants are able to say in the words of the famous beatles song, 'I get by with a little help from my friends' And in this case we are showing that bacteria do help the rice plant to grow better. Or in other words, discovering plant friendly bacteria

Why is it important?

Climate changes are making the lives of our plants stressful. Any natural method which helps in their growth would be advantageous for the plant and for food security

Perspectives

I strongly believe Nature has all the answers and will help feed us adequately is we are intuitive enough to look at the right place for help. So what better place to look for than saline soils, which harbor many bacteria which could help plants to grow in salty conditions!
