What is it about?
We have shown that sun-drying and smoking enhance the nutritious values of shrimp. We compared fresh, sun-dried and smoked shrimps and drew conclusion that all forms support healthy living and therefore useful for food and nutrition security of individuals.

Why is it important?
Findings from the paper demonstrates that shrimps are generally rich in omega 3 fatty acids; all products forms showed different advantages with respect to quality and nutrition; smoked seafood is considerably healthy as it yielded the low index of atherogenicity (IA) and index of thrombogenicity (IT).
