What is it about?

A survey of various methodologies of nuclei segmentation methods from histopathology images. This paper reviews all the major techniques used for segmenting nuclei in pathological images. In the field of histopathology, the evaluation of the disease status is based on cell nuclei information of the tissue images, and appropriate treatments are required for each cancer and grade. Therefore, it is necessary to extract the region of cell nuclei accurately.
